One session may have several cost components

The price per kWh covers energy. There may also be a start fee, a charge for time using the point and parking. Not every station charges all these components, but missing information on the map does not automatically mean there is no fee.

Check who collects each charge. The charging operator and car park manager may have separate rules. Information that no occupancy fee applies does not confirm free parking access. Confirm the terms on site and through the channel you use to start the session.

When do per-minute charges start?

Do not assume the fee clock starts only once the battery is charged. ORLEN's terms describe a time charge during an ongoing session, with a possible charge-free period specified in the tariff. Always check when charging begins and which points it covers in the current offer.

Distinguish connection time, active energy delivery time and time after the session ends. They may be treated differently. Also check billing increments and rounding. A few minutes over the limit can change the cost of a short charge.

Compare the same session

Fictional example: 30 kWh at 2 PLN costs 60 PLN for energy. Add an 8 PLN time charge and 10 PLN parking and the total is 78 PLN. Another point with more expensive energy may cost less overall if it does not have the same extras.

Use the same amount of energy and stop duration in the comparison. If you do not know the parking or time-charge rules, treat the calculation as partial. Do not enter zero simply to obtain a complete result. Enter your own terms for the specific point, rather than the entire network based on one location.

What should you check before starting?

Read the rate for your chosen connector and payment method. Check parking rules, the period without a time charge and session-ending conditions. Plan your return to the car and free the space once charging has finished.

If the amount shown in the service does not include every component, check the others with the operator. The subscription calculator does not replace this check either: it compares energy and the monthly fee, so differences in additional charges may change its conclusion.

Example prices are calculation assumptions. Check the terms of the specific point before charging. Confirm car compatibility in its manual.
