CALCULATE BEFORE YOU CHARGE

How much does your charging cost?

Home, public AC and fast DC side by side. Enter three prices and compare the same session and energy costs per 100 km. No need to change the rate for each calculation.

1

The same energy for comparison

2

Shared consumption assumptions

3

Three prices, without re-entering them

Initial prices are fictional examples, not operators' current price lists. At home, enter your own rate including VAT and the relevant variable bill components.

The comparison assumes the same energy draw for every option. It does not predict differences in actual AC and DC efficiency or charging time. We do not select the cheapest full session from incomplete fee data.

How do we calculate it?

Energy into the battery is the usable capacity multiplied by the increase in charge level. We calculate grid energy by dividing this result by charging efficiency: 1 minus the loss expressed as a fraction.

60 kWh × (80% − 20%) = 36 kWh into the battery
36 kWh ÷ 0.90 = 40 kWh from the grid
40 kWh × 2.50 PLN/kWh = 100 PLN for energy

This example assumes a loss of 10% of energy drawn from the grid. If you enter metered kWh, we do not add losses again. The cost per 100 km includes energy only; additional fees apply only to the specified session.

Enter your home rate including VAT and the relevant variable bill components. Actual losses depend on the car and conditions. Sources: bill components according to URE and ADAC charging loss study.
