Browsing the service

Station search and calculators are available without an account. Providing your location is voluntary and requires browser permission. Coordinates are used to find nearby points. We do not create a history of your journeys.

Pricing plans and comparison parameters saved by the user remain in their browser's storage. Signing in alone does not synchronise them with the account or other devices.

Google sign-in and your account

Signing in is voluntary. To create and operate an account, we process your Google account identifier, verified email address and profile name, if Google provides it. The legal basis is providing the account service at your request, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We do not receive your Google password or access to Gmail, Google Drive or your calendar. We do not store access tokens for Google services.

A sign-in attempt expires after 10 minutes. An account session remains valid for up to 7 days unless you end it earlier. An essential session cookie maintains the session; it is not used for advertising or analytics. We retain account data until the account is deleted. We remove expired technical records during subsequent sign-in operations.

You can delete your account in the “Account” tab or send a request to the contact address. Deleting a Stacja Obok account ends its sessions and removes the profile from the service. It does not delete your Google account or settings previously stored locally in your browser.

Favourite stations

At your request, we store favourite station identifiers and the date they were added against your account to make the list available across devices. The legal basis is performance of the account service, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can delete individual entries on the account page; deleting the account removes the entire list.

Public name and Stacja Obok reviews

You can set the name displayed with your reviews. By default, we use the first given name from your Google profile name, without the surname. We do not publish your email address or Google account identifier. Your review contains a rating, text, publication date and the author's public name. It is visible to all visitors. The legal basis for processing is operating account features at your request, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can change your name in the “Account” tab and edit or delete a review at the relevant station. Deleting your account also removes your reviews and public name.

Maps, navigation and reviews

The map uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Selecting navigation takes you to Google Maps. Providers receive the technical data needed to handle these requests, including your IP address.

The list of cafés, restaurants and hotels, when the integration is active, is retrieved from Google Places on request. We send the category and the public station's coordinates, without the user's location. We do not store the venue list in our database.

Do Google przekazujemy dane publicznej stacji, a nie prywatną lokalizację użytkownika. Treści opinii i ocen nie zapisujemy w trwałej bazie ani w pamięci przeglądarki między wizytami; identyfikator wizytówki może być zapisany do ponownego dopasowania. Google jest odrębnym dostawcą tych treści.

Additional open reviews

Additional reviews of nearby places come from Mangrove Reviews. When this section becomes visible, our server sends the provider the coordinates of the public charging station, not your private location. Your browser retrieves the result from our site. We keep a short-lived cache to reduce requests. Each review includes its author or an indication that no public name is available, source, date and licence. Opening the source takes you to an external service.

Infrastructure and security

The live service uses infrastructure in the owner’s Cloudflare account, including Workers, D1 and R2. Source code is stored in a private GitHub repository. The historical Sites copy does not serve stacjaobok.pl and has sign-in and writes disabled. Infrastructure providers may process technical request data necessary to run and secure the service. Our legitimate interest in service security is the basis under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). Providers may process data outside the EEA under the safeguards in their agreements and applicable law. We do not claim that all service data is stored only in Poland or the EU.

Your rights and contact

Within the limits provided by law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at kontakt@stacjaobok.pl. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of Poland's Personal Data Protection Office.

We do not make decisions about users that have legal effects solely on the basis of automated processing of account data. Providing sign-in data is voluntary; without it, no account will be created, but the search service will still work.
