Start with places you already visit

Work, shopping and regular activities can provide charging opportunities if a compatible point is available nearby. First check actual vehicle access, opening hours, walking access and parking conditions. A marker next to a shop alone does not prove that stopping there will be convenient or inexpensive.

This is a planning approach, not a statement about the availability of a venue database in Stacja Obok. The service currently helps you find points and compare costs. Venue hours, dog policies and walking routes must be confirmed separately.

Calculate your energy needs

Monthly distance multiplied by consumption per 100 km and divided by 100 gives an approximate energy requirement. Check whether the consumption figure includes charging losses. If it is based on battery energy, account for losses when estimating grid consumption.

A fictional scenario of 1000 km and 20 kWh from the grid per 100 km needs around 200 kWh a month. Split this energy between the places you actually use. Enter only the portion at points covered by a specific plan in the subscription calculator. Prepare a separate consumption scenario for winter or higher speeds.

Match charging to your stop duration

For a longer stop, consider AC; for a short one, also consider compatible DC. Actual power depends on the car and conditions. The connector, minimum power and reported availability should match the same point.

Add travel, parking and time charges to the cost. A low energy price does not help if you regularly have to wait a long time or pay for parking. Do not compare the price of one kWh alone when time and extra fees differ between locations.

Do not build your plan around one green station

A reported free status does not guarantee a space on arrival. Choose an alternative point and check compatibility and access. Keep an energy reserve appropriate to the conditions and the car manufacturer's recommendations.

Before deciding to use an EV daily without a garage, check several real scenarios: an ordinary day, a late return, a weekend and a longer trip. Record the charging time and total cost. This plan illustrates everyday convenience better than the number of stations in a city alone.

Guide sources and scope

Example prices are calculation assumptions. Check the terms of the specific point before charging. Confirm car compatibility in its manual.
