CHEAPER PER KWH, BUT CHEAPER PER MONTH?
Will a subscription pay off for you?
Calculate energy and fixed fees. See how much you need to charge on the covered network before the lower rate pays off.
Where does the threshold come from?
We compare two simple monthly tariffs: energy multiplied by the rate per kWh, plus a fixed fee. If the subscription has a higher fee and a lower energy price, the threshold is the difference in fees divided by the saving per kWh.
At 50 kWh, both options cost 160 PLN.
At 100 kWh: 320 PLN at the baseline rate or 280 PLN with the plan.
This is a fictional example. There is no universal number of sessions that makes every subscription worthwhile. The entered kWh must qualify for the same offer and payment method. Additional fees are not calculated; compare them separately.
When is this model not enough?
Packages with energy limits, pricing tiers, variable rates, promotions or annual contracts require a separate calculation. Do not enter the entire annual fee as a monthly fee or automatically divide it by 12 without considering the commitment. For an example of different terms and offer variants, see the IONITY subscriptions page.
Confirm the final terms with the provider. This calculator does not buy or change a subscription. Read the guide to choosing a plan →
